Farm Issues

In addition to our work focusing on specific topics, FARFA works on issues that arise that affect our farmers’ ability to produce and market their foods.

Many of these issues stem from the high level of corporate control, or consolidation, that has developed in the U.S. over the last few decades.  We refer to these as “fair market issues”  because it’s a question of what is needed to have a functioning free market that is not unfairly controlled by a few large companies.

We also cover a range of issues, from animal welfare to labeling.  Check out the section on other general farm issues for more information.  We will be adding more information to the section soon, so stay tuned!
