2nd Annual Farm and Food Leaders Training Conference, Austin, TX.  Sponsored by TOFGA last year, this very successful conference will be continued by FARFA.  Come hear some of the top speakers on issues ranging from the National Animal Identification System to genetically modified foods (GMO's) to farm-to-school programs!  More details here.

Searcy County, Arkansas, June 7:  The Arkansas Animal Producer's Association (ARAPA) is hosting a public meeting about NAIS.  Dr. Max Thornsberry of R-CALF and Doreen Hannes will be speaking.  For more information, read the flyer.

September 24: Mt. Pleasant, TX.  Republican Woman of Northeast Texas has invited Judith McGeary to do a presentation about the National Animal Identification System (NAIS).

Don't Tag Texas Rally

On Friday, March 2, 2007, FARFA sponsored a rally in Austin to protest the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) and the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC).  Over two thousand people walked up Congress Avenue (some with horses, donkeys, and chickens), and then rallied on the steps of the Capitol.  Read more ...
